The gripping plot follows the journey of two missionaries from the esteemed Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as they work hard to communicate their faith with the community members of a modest Ugandan community. A deficiency in interest from the villagers poses a difficulty for the earnest young men, as they are faced with weightier concerns, like HIV/AIDS, poverty, famine, female genital mutilation, child molestation, and the oppressive rule of the local warlord.
