New York, you’re in for the best kind of surprise as The Book of Mormon, one of Broadway’s wittiest, cleverest, and most amusing shows is arriving and performing in New York on Saturday 30th August 2025 at the one and only Eugene O'Neill Theatre! Take part in a musical showing that makes you fall in love with classical musicals, full of hysterical and humorous twists.
Produced from the minds of the creators of the famous comedy TV show South Park and the play Avenue Q, The Book of Mormon tells the story of two Latter-day Saints (LDS) missionaries, Kevin Price and Arnold Cunningham, as they try to convert local villagers in Uganda. In the same fashion to their previous creations, the musical takes the serious theme of religion and satirizes it through both writing and music.
As Ben Brantley of The New York Times shares, just like South Park, it is “also blasphemous, scurrilous and more foul-mouthed than David Mamet on a blue streak. But trust me when I tell you that its heart is as pure as that of a Rodgers and Hammerstein show”.
Don't miss your chance to be one of the lucky ones and get a seat to this awesome show, before they're all gone!

If you’re keen on a night of from-your-stomach kind of laughter, The Book of Mormon is where you should be!
What happens when two missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints try ringing a doorbell in a Ugandan village and find that doors in Africa don't have bells and that the people have no time for divine powers because they are captive in a world of famine, HIV/AIDS, child-molestation and oppression?
The Book of Mormon sent Broadway into a flat spin, and knocked the West End for a six., and it’s easy to see why. The creators of the hit series South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez are the creators behind the smash-hit musical.
After opening on Broadway in 2011, The Book of Mormon gained much critical acclaim and smashed records with its ticket sales
The Book of Mormon is one of those productions that kicks off on a high note and keeps getting better and better, sending enraptured audiences home with that post-performance banter and giggles and possibly a new-found respect for Mormons.
The Book of Mormon is for certain one of those musicals that makes the grade with its zesty music, incredible choreography that will have your jaws on the floor, “recreational offense” topped with a just enough controversy, impeccable acting, humour that just keeps going and going, and a strangely heartwarming feeling. The question remains - how can one production be stir up so many conflicting feelings at the same time? We don’t have answers, all we know is that The Book of Mormon is all that and more!
