The Book Of Mormon tickets

Coming to you from Broadway, it’s time for New York to gear up and get ready as the musical comedy Book of Mormon will be coming to in New York at Eugene O'Neill Theatre on Friday 18th July 2025.

The mindblowing and sometimes rude and crude musical Book of Mormon follows the story of two Mormon Elders in training to become missionaries – Kevin Price and Arnold Cunningham, who are sent on a mission to a remote village in Uganda to convert its residents. The Broadway show deliberately satirizes faith in general through the eyes of the pair, as Cunningham comes up with fact mixed with fiction to teach religion to the locals.

The Book of Mormon was created by Robert Lopez, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone, the same creators of the cartoon TV series South Park and the musical Avenue Q.

Tickets for the show at Eugene O'Neill Theatre are now for sale for a limited time only, so grab yours now!

Launching in 2011, The Book of Mormon has undoubtedly been one of the most accomplished Broadway musicals since its creation. Created by Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez, the musical is a different perspective on the Latter-day Saints (LDS) founder and prophet Joseph Smith complete with his Book of Mormon. The show was originally meant to premiere off Broadway at the NYC Theatre workshop after its 2008 staged reading, though this turned out to be a blessing in disguise as its actual debut in 2011 moved to a more prominent location at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre.

After a year, the Book of Mormon was already approved for a U.S. national tour that lasted four years, including a run in Salt Lake City, Utah! The show also proceeded to be produced in several locations, with a Chicago production performed in 2012, a West End production in 2013, and Australian and Swedish productions both performed in 2017.

The unconventionality and nonconformity of this musical were key factors to this success. It tells the story of Elder Kevin Price and Elder Arnold Cunningham, two LDS missionaries who aim to convert locals in a remote village in Uganda. It is there that they contend with the local issues that the villagers face, as well as their contrasting methods in teaching their faith, given that Cunningham lies to the villagers by injecting fictional parts from science fiction and fantasy stories into his sermons, while Price is resolved to teach the villagers in the usual, orthodox manner. The way the Book of Mormon is shared with the audience is told in quite an unorthodox manner as well, usually mocking religion in its script and also injecting comic entertainment in both of its acts, including its upbeat showtunes.

For its current run, the Book of Mormon will be in New York in July at the grand theatre venue of Eugene O'Neill Theatre, which holds an awesome stage, sound system and acoustics, and finest facilities that is fit for this word-class show.
