Joseph Smith was called a prophet "dumb dumb dumb dumb." If you're not from in and around Salt Lake City, there's a good chance that your introduction to The Book of Mormon started with a South Park episode. That episode helped inspire The Book Of Mormon from the creators of the Comedy Central hit, and for more than a decade, it's been drawing strong reactions and sending audiences out singing tracks like "I Believe" and "Turn It Off." Now you have a chance to see this performance live in New York, New York at Eugene O'Neill Theatre on Thursday 25th June 2026 at 7:00 PM ET.
There's no question that The Book Of Mormon is the most unapologetic and irreverent show to hit Broadway, arguably ever. Ironically, Trey Parker and Matt Stone had an interest in musicals before they developed the beloved community of South Park, Colorado. Don't think for a second that The Book Of Mormon was put together without real theatrical experience. This 9-time Tony Award-winning production, including Best Musical, has been running at the historic Eugene O'Neill Theatre since 2011, making it one of Broadway's longest-running shows. This version of The Book of Mormon features an incredible cast that will bring the humor and absurdity of the story to life as they follow Mormon missionaries on their journey to Uganda. Thursday 25th June 2026 promises to be a fun night at Eugene O'Neill Theatre, located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan's Theater District at 230 West 49th Street. Use the "Buy Tickets" option to experience the show live.

From the moment that people read "Brought to you by the creators of South Park", they have a certain expectation about what they're going to see on stage. Yes, to be fair, if you look carefully, you'll notice familiar humor throughout. However, this is a performance that's hitting the road after premiering on Broadway more than 15 years ago. That speaks to the fact that The Book Of Mormon is an established musical with a loyal following. This 9-time Tony Award winner, including Best Musical, has been delighting audiences at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre since 2011. Thursday 25th June 2026 at 7:00 PM ET marks your chance to add your name to the list of loyal fans.
If you think that this is just a performance that Trey Parker and Matt Stone created only to mock a religion, you're in for a different experience. Without giving too much away, we'd say, the story runs on this sense of naivety from the characters, but they are developing as the plot progresses. Following Mormon missionaries on their journey to Uganda, the show makes them endearing, and it's part of why the show remains popular when The Book of Mormon is playing. As with any musical, some of these songs also keep the energy high from start to finish. When it's all wrapped up, you might have a "What did I just watch" feeling, but you'll know you've had a great time as the talented actors keep you watching closely from start to finish during the 2 hours 30 minutes (including a 15-minute intermission).
When headed to a play, finding the right seats to have a perfect view of the action on stage is an important part of the visit. Broadway rules truly apply here! That means you're going to want to look for a spot in a central area. Also, avoid choosing front-row seats. That's not where you're going to have the most complete perspective. On the contrary, you're going to be looking up at the actors' shoes for most of the show. The historic Eugene O'Neill Theatre, located at 230 West 49th Street in Midtown Manhattan's Theater District, offers Orchestra and Mezzanine seating with approximately 1,066 seats and wheelchair-accessible options available.
If you want to experience one of the more controversial, yet beloved Broadway shows of the last decade plus, then don't hesitate to select the "Buy Tickets" option as soon as possible. Spots for The Book of Mormon tend to sell out when it's on the road.
